What to expect from the Physiotherapists

Personalised friendly care, good humour and banter amongst the physios.

Joseph Lee

Principal Physiotherapist, B AppSc (Phty), APAM

Joseph graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy. He has experience in musculoskeletal, male pelvic floor, neurological rehabilitation and domicilary physiotherapy services. For several years, he has developed his skills and clinical competencies, with an interest in shoulder and cervical spine disorders.

Outside of the clinic Joseph is extremely passionate (almost cultish) about his coffee, and is on the quest for the perfect cup of coffee along the East Coast of Australia. He loves to play the piano and sing in a band and having a cup of coffee after. He only drinks espresso, ristretto or a long black. If he is really impressed with the barista, he will go for milk based coffees- macchiatos and piccolo lattes but seldomly does he have a flat white, cappuccino or a mocha. He also has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Did we mention that he liked coffee?

Julie Barnett

Physiotherapist, B Sc (Anatomy), PGD Phty, APAM

Julie graduated from the University of New South Wales and Cumberland College of Health Sciences (Sydney University). She is also a Gold member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Julie brings a wealth of experience to the clinic as she has worked in major Sydney teaching hospitals as well as Orange, Armidale, Lithgow and Tamworth Hospitals before entering private practice. Her key interests include work and sports related injuries, post- operative and women’s health.

Julie loves bushwalking and doing multiday hikes with her family and friends all around Australia. She is keen to stay fit and healthy despite her sweet tooth and loves gardening and listening to classical music. She is also occupied by the kangaroos that keep encroaching on her yard.

Chelsea Noon

Physiotherapist, B Phty (First Class Hons), APAM

Chelsea graduated from Charles Sturt University First Class Honours. Prior to working in private practice, she completed placements at Nepean, Auburn, Lithgow, Calvary (Canberra), and Orange Base Hospitals. Her particular interests are musculoskeletal physiotherapy, post-operative and hydrotherapy. She is loved by the community having been a local and knows every second person who attends the clinic.

Outside of the clinic, she is busy camp drafting, helping out on the family farm in Wallerawang, playing netball or basketball. If you can’t see her doing these activities, she is walking her dogs whilst listening to Country music.
